24dogs Fitch London, 2000 |
New media, old game. Online betting has been big business ever since the very beginning of the commercial internet. It was now the turn of greyhound racing, and Wembley plc. approached Fitch London to design a new brand and launch it on the web. As with totaljourney, the project involved a comprehensive research phase with its corresponding Mastervision Document defining all aspects of the new brand: trends and sector fit, target audience fit, design fit and brand manual. Once the brand was defined, I was put in charge of the design and production of the interface for the website. This involved leading the definition process for the website with the client and the technical partner who would carry out the final integration. My role was to lead the definition process and design, produce and deliver the interface to the technical partner. |
Stuart Wood, who was hired as Digital Team Leader in 2000 and has stayed to become Executive Creative Director for Europe & Russia. Stephen Van Elst, interactive and graphic designer, whom I worked with on this project. He designed the logo and homepage for the site. |
